A Tickfaw man is in custody in connection to several burglaries, said Tangipahpoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards.
Ernest Roscoe Bradley Lankford, 41, of Tickfaw, was charged with nine counts of simple burglary, four counts of attempted burglary, theft by fraud, and identify theft following his arrest by the sheriff's Burglary Task Force on Sept. 8.

It was determined Lankford is responsible for the burglaries at the Red Dot Storage Facility on University Avenue in Hammond and The Space Place Mini Storage Center in Amite.  These incidents  took place between August 19th, through August 28, 2020.

"Detectives are still gathering information pertaining to this case and are still in the process of recovering and identifying stolen property," Edwards said. "At this time, we ask anyone with knowledge of or who has purchased items from Lankford to contact the Burglary Division at Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Office, 985-345-6150."

Victims of these burglaries are asked to contact Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Detective Kody Glenn at 985-345-6150 and to report, identify, and/or claim recovered property, Edwards said.
