Southeastern advances to first Regional since 2017

Southeastern advanced to its first Regional since 2017 with an 11-7 win over McNeese in the Southland Conference Tournament.

LAKE CHARLES – After dropping the opening game of the series, Southeastern won back-to-back games to take the Southland Conference Tournament Championship and advance to an NCAA Regional for the first time since 2017.

Southeastern left little doubt in Saturday’s game after back-to-back walk-off wins for both sides in the first two games of the series. The second-seeded Lions put up three runs in the first inning and never looked back in their 11-7 win over top-seeded McNeese.
