Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller announced Friday that the parish’s burn ban and nightly curfew have been lifted.

At this time, the only Hurricane Ida-related restriction still in place involves recreational traffic on local waterways.

High water from Hurricane Nicholas and continued issues with Ida-related debris in local waterways make recreational traffic too dangerous at this time, Miller said. Camp owners will be able to travel to their properties, he said, but all recreational traffic remains prohibited at this time.
