Holy Ghost Catholic School announces the 2020-21 Students of the Year are Olivia Krause, daughter of Jason and Katie Krause, and Eliza Foster, daughter of Lee and Greta Foster. Both are 4.0 students.

Olivia was chosen as the Fifth Grade Student of the Year. She is a B-Quest student and  member of the 4-H club. She enjoys volleyball and softball, playing on a rec team in both sports. Excelling in math and reading, she has earned AR Points Club status and First in Math awards.

Eliza, the Eighth Grade Student of the Year, is an Advanced Math student and is in B-Quest and in English 1, a freshman course. She earned Duke TIP recognition, Top 5 Reader at Holy Ghost and the Good Samaritan award. She also participates in the Diocesan Quiz Bowl, HGCS Art Club and National Junior Honor Society. Eliza serves as a Student Council representative, altar server, and committee member for the Tangipahoa Parish 4H Junior Leaders.

The school congratulates these Holy Ghost representatives and wishes them well competing at the diocesan level.
