Tangipahoa Parish School System students will begin returning to class tomorrow.

Traditional students in PreK-8th grade will resume classes on campus on Wednesday, Sept. 1. PreK-8th grade students who have chosen the full virtual option will resume classes online.

Now under Phase 3, 9th-12th grade students will begin coming to campus on an A/B staggered schedule. High school students who have chosen the full virtual option need to continue to check their email and log in to the virtual platform to engage in lessons and assignments from their virtual teachers.

High schools will participate in the following staggered schedule for this week only:

• All 9-12th grade students will work online from home on Wednesday, Sept. 16.

• Group A (A-K) will attend classes on campus on Thursday, Sept. 17.

• Group B (L-Z) will attend classes on campus on Friday, Sept. 18.

Beginning on Sept. 21, high schools will adhere to the following weekly schedule:

• Group A will attend classes on campus on Mondays and Tuesdays.

• Wednesdays will be an all virtual day where all high school students (Group A and B) will work online from home.

• Group B will attend classes on campus on Thursdays and Fridays.

The virtual curbside meal pickup schedule will resume Wednesday, Sept. 16 at Sumner High, Independence High and Hammond High.
