District Attorney Association
The Louisiana District Attorneys Association has announced that Assistant District Attorney Kurt Wall has been re-elected second vice president of the association. He is assistant district attorney in the 21st Judicial District of Louisiana in Tangipahoa, Livingston and St. Helena parishes. Entering into his 27th year as a prosecutor, Wall said he still has a passion for helping victims of crime and holding criminals accountable for their disregard of the law.

Jean-Victor K. Bonnaig, M.D., has joined North Oaks Imaging Associates in Hammond in the practice of Musculoskeletal Imaging, a subspecialty of Diagnostic Radiology. Musculoskeletal radiologists like Bonnaig are specially trained to diagnose injuries and medical conditions affecting bones, joints and associated soft tissues.
Bonnaig comes to North Oaks from private practice in Florida, where he provided musculoskeletal and general radiology coverage for the past two years to health care facilities statewide. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville. He completed an internship in General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where he also was an academic appointee at Harvard Medical School as a Clinical Fellow in Surgery. After completing a diagnostic radiology residency through Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, he completed a Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, where he trained under the direct supervision of radiology consultants for the National Football League, National Hockey League and collegiate athletes.
Bonnaig belongs to the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America and Radiological Society of Louisiana.
North Oaks Imaging Associates is a radiology group based at North Oaks Medical Center, which is a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center.
Louisiana Cat launched a new Louisiana Rents location in Covington, on July 1. Louisiana Rents is an authorized rental facility for Cat® construction equipment. Michael Hammant will manage the new location.
Community, Technical College
The Louisiana Community and Technical College System Board of Supervisors has frozen tuition for the sixth straight year, said Chair Paul Price Jr. The board has also emboldened colleges to be more intentional with the use of their Institutional Aid, to continue waving online class registration fees, and to continue to grow and promote the Reboot Your Career program, which offers short term training at a deeply reduced rate.
