Climate change is for real.
Throughout the world what in the past were infrequent tragic occurrences on our planet are becoming commonplace.
Just this past month, homes in "sunny" California were buried in snow, and 51,000 deaths were confirmed in the Turkey/Syria earthquake.
There are an estimated 500,000 earthquakes each year, but, fortunately, only about 100,000 are felt. Unfortunately, scientists are still not able to predict them.
The earth is composed of several layers – the crust (surface), mantle and core – and when a section of these layers is fractured and falls the quake occurs.
This also causes tsunamis in the oceans – waves recorded as high as 1,700 feet, moving as fast as 500 mph, reaching shore reduced to 100 feet high, to cause tremendous destruction.
These increasing disasters seem to be a form of Mother Earth finally rebelling against her mistreatment.
