Titus Showers to perform in virtual concert

Acclaimed recording artist Titus Showers of Tangipahoa Parish will perform in a virtual concert as part of Joe Biden’s inauguration festivities, his spokesperson announced Saturday.

The 2021 Gospel Inauguration Celebration will be accessible Wednesday at 7 p.m. See www.the201ligc.org for information.

Esteemed invited honored guests are President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris, for the first-ever virtual 2021 Inaugural Gospel Celebration. This event is a Pay Per View Event.

A portion of all money raised will go to the National Baptist Convention’s “I’m In” initiative to enable better healthcare access for underserved communities. 

Showers will perform his new single, “We Need You.”

Among other artists slated to perform are Tye Tribbett, Fred Hammond, Bryan Popin, Marvin Sapp, Jonathan McCReynolds, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Todd Dulaney and Marvin Sapp.

Emmy/Golden Globe-nominated host Anthony Anderson will lead with laughter the star-studded night of gospel music to unite and heal.
