Obituaries must be submitted through your funeral director or mortuary. They must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Rates: 55 cents per word; plus $15 to include a photo. Advance payment required. Call (985) 254-7834 or email email@example.com for more information. Deadline for submission is 3 p.m. for publication the following day.
The best way to submit photos is by email. Attach as Jpeg at least 130 dpi and no more than 200 pixels on max end, limit three images or 8m per email.
Photos may also be submitted on CD. Send Jpeg, 200 dpi max.
If hard copy photographs are submitted, they must be original photographic prints. No photo copy reproductions or computer printouts will be accepted.
Please provide all appropriate text with submission. Identify persons by first and last name or things in image clockwise, left to right (from bottom left if necessary). Provide contact person with telephone contact number and email (if available).
